My intent being a private teacher is certainly to create in my scholars a deep recognition and self-assurance at tests and being capable to deal with unknown problems. The base of my approach is the idea that learning occurs in an environment of mutual appreciation wherein the student is supported to think and establish relationships for themselves. My experience has been that one-to-one private lesson has a special benefit to learners because of the option to resolve the students' own boundaries to study in a manner which lays the bases for a long-term and deep understanding of the theme.
Student’s needs and learning style matter
My approach varies depending on the student's learning style and needs. However, my teaching philosophy is based on motivating learners to think for themselves, applying existing situations whenever they can. |I feel that it is extremely important to supply students with a working skills and to practice analytical skill-sets for establishing upon this knowledge. Directing anyone to think critically is at the core of the things a student should really withdraw off any subject program.
The most important contribution
Training students belongs to the most durable improvements a teacher are able to bring in, and it is a process, which I consider to be pleasurable and beneficial. From my practice, I found out the importance of involving scholars with the help of examples and of pitching data at a level which assumes perception but not necessarily knowledge, blending the unknown with the known as a solution which gives the student the feeling of probability rather than that one of impossibility that impressive and formal ways can lay down.
My teaching tricks
I begin with themes the children are good with and proceed little by little to more complicated fields seeing that their self-esteem is being grown. I don't ever lecture to scholars or tell them to memorise Information.
I normally prioritise exam-style as well as last paper questions in order to examine, practice and perfect the scholar's recognising and technique. I even give a lot of emphasis to many of the not so much evident but vital skill sets like logical thought, essay technique and structure, and the helpful use of numbers and graphs.
